A key component to the success of PTAA is the involvement of parents and other family members, working through the PTAA Volunteers organization. Parent volunteers are an invaluable and essential part of the success and efficient operation of our schools. District policy requires annual criminal history checks for all parent and community volunteers who work in our schools. This includes, but is not limited to, volunteers who work in the cafeteria, the school bookrooms, supply rooms, library media centers, teacher workrooms, and who chaperone field trips and school activities. We appreciate your assistance in this matter and for helping us ensure that all our students are educated in a safe and secure environment
